3 Star diving Instructor is a person who has the skill to lead all level divers. He is responsible of his\her divers to dive safely according to the diving rules. 3 Star diving Instructor has received the necessary Rescue and first aid trainings and he can apply if it needs. If necessary, 3 Star Instructor is authorized to warn the diver or detain the dive in cases of illegal behavior. He is mainly responsible for the safety of the divers who dives with him. Can dive up to 30 meters. Accompanied by a diving instructor he\she can dive up to 42 meters for educational purposes.
Physical Preparation-Intellectual Preparation-Equipment Preparation Planning and Organization- Stress Causes and Prevention Methods, First Aid Materials and Techniques-Accident Intervention, Equipment Repair and Maintenance-Compressor Usage, Small Boat Use-Dive Leadership, Boat Organization-Emergency Administration, Rescue Skills.
To be at least 18 years old
Signing the declaration paper, that the diver has no health problems that can prevent from diving, which prepared by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation
To be a 2 Star diver or to have an equivalent document approved by the Diving Federation
To have at least 50 certified dives after taking the 2 star diver training and documenting it with the dive log book
The theoretical part of the CMAS 3 star consists of 20 class hours and lasts for 2 weeks. Theoretical department days are determined by dive instructors and trainees together.
